This privacy policy explains what marylandiptv.com collects when you visit, what it never collects, and what choices you have. The short version: this site has no accounts, no logins, and nothing to sell you, so there is very little to collect in the first place.
Reviewed for accuracy: September 2026.
Maryland IPTV collects no personal information unless you send it to us through the contact form. Anonymous analytics record how pages are used. We sell no data, run no advertising trackers of our own, and maintain no user accounts.
What we do not collect
Starting here is more useful than a list of what we do, because the list of what we do not is longer.
There are no user accounts on this site, so there is nothing to register for and no password to store. There are no comments, so nothing you write is stored on our server. There is no newsletter, so we hold no mailing list. We sell nothing, so no payment information passes through here at any point — no card details, no billing address, no purchase history.
We do not sell, rent, or trade information about visitors to anyone. There is no arrangement under which that could happen, because there is no data worth anyone buying.
Information you send us deliberately
One route exists for you to give us information: the contact form.
When you use it, we receive the name, email address, and message you typed. That is used to reply to you and for nothing else. It is not added to any list, not used for marketing, and not passed to a third party.
Messages are kept only as long as they are useful — a correction stays on file while the page it concerns is still live, so the editorial record shows why a page changed. General enquiries are deleted once answered. If you would prefer your message deleted immediately after we reply, say so in the message and we will.
Cookies and analytics
What analytics records
This site uses analytics software to understand which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where people give up and leave. This tells us which explanations are failing and which topics need more coverage.
What that records is aggregate and anonymous: pages viewed, approximate location at city or regional level, device and browser type, referring source, and time on page. It does not tell us who you are, and we make no attempt to connect it to a named individual.
Cookies used here
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site uses them in two ways.
Essential cookies keep the site working — remembering a dismissed notice, or maintaining a session while you browse. Analytics cookies let the analytics software recognize a returning browser so a single visitor reading four pages is not counted as four people.
There are no advertising cookies placed by us, and no cross-site tracking pixels of our own.
Opting out
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works without them, though some conveniences stop working.
For analytics specifically, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out entirely, available for the major browsers, and explains what it does on its own support pages. Installing it stops your activity being reported to Google Analytics on this site and every other site using it.
Affiliate links
Some articles link to consumer hardware such as streaming devices. Where a link is an affiliate link, the retailer may set its own cookie to record that you arrived from here, and may pay this site a commission if you buy something. That happens at no extra cost to you.
Once you click through, you are on the retailer’s site and their privacy policy governs what happens next — not ours. We receive no information about what you looked at or bought, only whether a commission was earned.
Where affiliate links appear, they are disclosed on the page. The arrangement has never changed what an article says.
External links
Articles link to outside sources: government agencies, manufacturer documentation, technical standards bodies. Those links are provided because they support a claim in the text.
We have no control over how those sites handle your data, and this privacy policy stops at our boundary. Reading the policy of any site you spend real time on is worth the two minutes.
Server logs and security
Like every website, this one sits on a server that keeps access logs — IP address, request time, page requested, browser identifier. These are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and used for security and diagnosing faults. They are not used to build a profile of anyone and are not combined with anything else.
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Given that it holds no accounts and no payment data, the consequences of a breach here are limited by design rather than by promise.
Children
This site is written for adults making decisions about home television equipment. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, tell us and it will be deleted.
Your privacy choices
Several things are within your control, without asking us for anything.
You can browse without cookies by configuring your browser to block them. You can opt out of analytics with the add-on linked above. You can use the site entirely without contacting us, since nothing here requires it.
If you have written to us and want that message deleted, ask through our contact page and we will remove it. Since we hold no accounts, there is no profile to request a copy of — whatever we have is the message you sent.
Changes to this privacy policy
If this policy changes materially — a new analytics tool, a change in what the contact form collects — the change is made here and the review date at the top is updated. We do not quietly alter a policy and leave the old date standing.
Contact
Questions about this privacy policy reach the editorial team through our contact page. How the site is run more generally is set out on our about page, and copyright matters are handled in our DMCA disclaimer and copyright policy.
