Open Formuler’s product menu and you’ll see a MYTVOnline number printed next to almost every box. That number matters more than it looks. Formuler builds its hardware around the MYTVOnline platform, so the IPTV experience is more closely tied to the model than it is on a typical Android TV box. When you pick a Formuler, you’re choosing a MYTVOnline generation and the hardware together.
This guide covers the current lineup in that order: generation first, then the specifications within it. It’s part of our IPTV devices section. If you’re still deciding between Formuler and other Android-based boxes, start with our Android box guide.

If you want MYTVOnline 4, look only at the Z12 series: the Z12 Ultra, Z12 Ultra SE and Z12 Pro. Formuler says MYTVOnline 4 is available exclusively on Z12 Series devices. If MYTVOnline 3 is enough, the Z11 Pro Max, Z11 Pro and Z mini are still in Formuler’s current lineup. Within each generation, storage, Wi‑Fi and Ethernet are what separate the models.
What Sets a Formuler Box Apart From Other Android Boxes

A Formuler box runs Android, so in that respect it’s like other Android streaming boxes. The difference is MYTVOnline. On most Android boxes, you choose the hardware and then install whatever IPTV player you like. On a Formuler, MYTVOnline is part of the product, and Formuler’s own lineup lists each model with the generation it runs. That’s why the comparison below starts with the MYTVOnline column, not RAM.
It also helps to be clear about what Formuler sells. In its support knowledge base, Formuler states: “Formuler is a device manufacturer. Formuler does NOT provide any media contents.” The same article points to Formuler’s setup guide for MAC, XC API and M3U playlist connections, the source types you add to MYTVOnline yourself.
Formuler Models at a Glance

Every figure below comes from the model’s own page on formuler.tv. The MYTVOnline column follows Formuler’s product lineup. The last column records only what each Formuler page says about Google Play Protect certification. It’s not a result from Google’s list, which is covered in the certification section.
| Model | MYTVOnline | Android | RAM / Storage | Wi‑Fi | Ethernet | Play Protect certification on Formuler’s page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Z12 Ultra | 4 | Android 12 | 4GB / 128GB | Wi‑Fi 6E, tri-band | Gigabit | Not stated |
| Z12 Ultra SE | 4 | Android 12 | 2GB / 64GB | Wi‑Fi 6E, tri-band | Gigabit | Not stated |
| Z12 Pro | 4 | Android 12 | 2GB / 16GB | Wi‑Fi 5, dual-band | Gigabit | Not stated |
| Z11 Pro Max | 3 | Android 11 | 4GB / 32GB | Wi‑Fi 6 (AX) | Gigabit | Not stated |
| Z11 Pro | 3 | Android 11 | 2GB / 16GB | Wi‑Fi 5 (AC), dual-band | Gigabit | Not stated |
| Z mini | 3 | Android 12 | 2GB / 8GB | Wi‑Fi 5 (AC) | Not stated | Not stated |
Formuler notes on several pages that usable storage is lower than the listed figure because of pre-installed software.
MYTVOnline 4 Models
Formuler Z12 Ultra
The Z12 Ultra has the most storage in Formuler’s lineup: 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on Android 12, with tri-band Wi‑Fi 6E, Gigabit Ethernet, a Micro SD slot, and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos decoding.
Consider it if: you want MYTVOnline 4 together with the most storage and memory Formuler offers.
Check before buying: whether you’ll actually use 128GB. For live channels alone, the Ultra SE and Pro run the same MYTVOnline generation.
Formuler Z12 Ultra SE
The Z12 Ultra SE keeps the Ultra’s tri-band Wi‑Fi 6E, Gigabit Ethernet, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Formuler lists internal recording and TimeShift using that built-in storage.
Consider it if: you want MYTVOnline 4, record to the box itself, and want Wi‑Fi 6E.
Check before buying: the RAM. “Ultra” in the name doesn’t mean it matches the full Z12 Ultra; the SE lists 2GB, not 4GB.
Formuler Z12 Pro
The Z12 Pro is the plainest way into MYTVOnline 4: Android 12, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, dual-band Wi‑Fi 5 and Gigabit Ethernet. Formuler also lists AV1 decoding at 4K 60fps and HDR10+.
Consider it if: what you want is MYTVOnline 4 itself, and you plan to connect over Ethernet or have a solid Wi‑Fi 5 signal where the TV sits.
Check before buying: storage. At 16GB, it has a quarter of the Ultra SE’s capacity, so compare the two if recording matters to you.
MYTVOnline 3 Models
Formuler Z11 Pro Max
The Z11 Pro Max pairs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with Android 11, Wi‑Fi 6 (AX), Gigabit Ethernet, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port and a Micro SD slot. It’s the model that shows up most often in IPTV discussions on Reddit and Formuler’s own support forum.
Consider it if: MYTVOnline 3 does what you need and you want the most memory in the Z11 generation.
Check before buying: it isn’t a MYTVOnline 4 device. Formuler’s MYTVOnline 4 announcement limits the new version to the Z12 Series.
Formuler Z11 Pro
The Z11 Pro runs MYTVOnline 3 on Android 11 with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, dual-band Wi‑Fi 5, Gigabit Ethernet and AV1 decoding.
Consider it if: you want the Z11 platform and Gigabit Ethernet without the Pro Max’s extra memory.
Check before buying: compare it side by side with the Z12 Pro. Both list 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, Wi‑Fi 5 and Gigabit Ethernet; the difference is Android 12 and MYTVOnline 4 on the Z12 Pro.
Formuler Z mini
The Z mini is a compact streamer measuring 83 × 60 × 12.5 mm that connects to the TV by HDMI. Its specification table lists Android 12, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and AC Wi‑Fi, and it runs MYTVOnline 3.
Consider it if: you want MYTVOnline 3 in a device small enough to sit behind the TV.
Check before buying: the spec table doesn’t state a wired Ethernet speed, and storage is 8GB. If you rely on Ethernet, check the port details with the seller before buying.
Older Formuler Models Still Listed by the Manufacturer
Formuler’s product menu still lists the Z10 family and the GTV. Each of these pages describes MYTVOnline 2 as the device’s platform.
| Model | Android | RAM / Storage | Wi‑Fi | Ethernet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Z10 Pro Max | Android 10 | 4GB / 32GB | Dual-band AC | Gigabit |
| Z10 Pro | Android 10 | 2GB / 16GB | Dual-band AC | 100M |
| Z10 | Android 10 | 2GB / 8GB | Dual-band AC | 100M |
| Z10 Neo | Android 10 | 2GB / 4GB | 2.4GHz only | 100M |
| Z10 SE | Android 10 | 2GB / 4GB | 2.4GHz only | 100M |
| GTV | Android TV 12 | 2GB / 16GB | Dual-band AC | Gigabit |
Being listed on formuler.tv doesn’t tell you whether a model is still sold new in the US or how long it will keep receiving updates, and Formuler’s pages don’t say. Note the two models limited to 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi and the 100M Ethernet ports before you consider one of these as a new purchase. Of the older models, the GTV is the only one whose page says “Powered by Android TV” and mentions Google Play.
MYTVOnline Versions: The App Matters as Much as the Box
Formuler’s 2026 MYTVOnline 4 announcement describes a new Home screen, AI-powered recommendations, up to four individual profiles with their own viewing history, and a choice of where the app opens: Home, Live TV, VOD or Series. It also states that MYTVOnline 4 is available exclusively on Z12 Series devices.
In practice, the generation stays with the hardware. The announcement says nothing about bringing MYTVOnline 4 to Z11 or Z10 boxes, so don’t buy an older model expecting that upgrade. That doesn’t mean MYTVOnline 3 or 2 stop working. It means the generation you get on the day you buy is the one to judge.
The Certification Check

Three different things can appear on a Formuler spec sheet or listing, and they’re easy to confuse.
Widevine L1 is a DRM level. Formuler lists Widevine L1 and L3 on the Z12 and Z11 models and on the Z mini. It concerns protected video playback, not Google certification.
Google Play availability means the box can run Google’s app store. The GTV page, for example, says “Google Play brings 7000+ apps and games to your TV.”
Play Protect certification is Google’s confirmation that a device passed Android compatibility testing. You check it against Google’s supported-devices list, not on the manufacturer’s page. None of the Formuler pages reviewed for this guide state Play Protect certification for any model.
This check matters because of the FBI’s BADBOX 2.0 public service announcement from June 2025, which names devices that aren’t Play Protect certified among the indicators worth paying attention to. One indicator alone doesn’t make a box malicious. And a model’s absence from Google’s list can also mean it’s new, or that its maker hasn’t certified it with Google. Look up the exact model before you buy, buy from a seller you can identify, and read our IPTV scams guide before buying a box advertised with channels included.
Formuler or Fire TV Stick?
Neither is better for everyone. They’re different platforms built for different routines.
| If your priority is | Consider |
|---|---|
| An IPTV client built into the device | Formuler |
| MYTVOnline 4 specifically | Formuler Z12 series |
| Amazon’s Fire TV interface and Appstore | Fire TV Stick |
| A stick that plugs straight into the TV’s HDMI port | Fire TV Stick or Formuler Z mini |
| Gigabit Ethernet on the box itself | Most current Formuler models |
For the Amazon side of that comparison, see our Fire TV Stick for IPTV guide. If Apple’s box is also on your list, see Apple TV vs Firestick for IPTV.
Does a Formuler Box Come With Channels?
No. The box is the hardware and MYTVOnline is the client. What you watch comes from a source you add to it, which is separate from the device. Formuler’s own product pages say some features and services may require an internet connection and a subscription. Its support article states that Formuler does not provide media content.
So treat any listing that bundles a Formuler with “channels included” as two separate things: a device and a content claim. Our IPTV apps guide explains how players and sources fit together, and Is IPTV Legal covers the legal side of content.
Narrowing It Down
Settle the generation first, then match the hardware to how you’ll actually use the box.
| If you need | Models to check |
|---|---|
| MYTVOnline 4 | Z12 Ultra, Z12 Ultra SE, Z12 Pro |
| The most storage Formuler lists | Z12 Ultra (128GB) |
| MYTVOnline 4 with internal recording on 64GB | Z12 Ultra SE |
| MYTVOnline 4 on a simpler spec | Z12 Pro |
| The most memory in the MYTVOnline 3 generation | Z11 Pro Max |
| A compact MYTVOnline 3 device | Z mini |
| Z11 platform with Gigabit Ethernet and 2GB of RAM | Z11 Pro |
| A Formuler with Android TV and Google Play stated | GTV |
Whichever row you land on, open that model’s page on formuler.tv on the day you buy, compare it with the seller’s listing, and look up the model in Google’s list. Maryland IPTV doesn’t sell devices or supply streams; see our DMCA disclaimer.
